Housed on a converted boat, The Milk Float serves a lighter, brighter take on Tex-Mex. Guests can tuck into zingy rice bowls, loaded nachos, and tacos worth talking about, all made with produce from small, independent suppliers close to home. Pints and padrón peppers are a favourite all-day snack, perfect alongside Stratford-distilled gin, Hackney-brewed beer, or a round of margaritas.

In summer, the sunny terrace is the place to be, offering uninterrupted views of the water and a relaxed, unhurried atmosphere. As the colder months set in, the heated cabin becomes a cosy retreat, with blankets and hot water bottles ensuring the chill stays outside.

The Milk Float’s commitment to sustainability runs deep. Staff are paid the London Living Wage, waste is recycled with care, and free monthly litter-picking canoe trips help keep the canal pristine.
